Lodging in Cuba is available in individual rooms in private homes (casa particulars) or government owned hotels. Casa particulars cost $25 to $30 per night. Hotel rooms cost $65 to $125 per night. Breakfast is usually included as part of the room charge. In downtown Varadero, we recommend Hotel Barlovento. For a view of the Florida Straits and on the beach, we recommend Melia Sol Palmeras or Melia Las Americas. Casas are available upon request.
